About the Author

Twice a Fulbright scholar and twice a U.S. National Endowment for the Humanities grantee, David Kowalewski, PhD, has been practicing shamanism for several decades. His research on shamanism, religion, and the paranormal has appeared in Journal of Contemporary Shamanism, Journal of Shamanic Practice, Journal of Transpersonal Psychology, Journal for the Scientifi c Study of Religion, Review of Religious Research, Journal of Church and State, Sociology of Religion, and International Journal of Transpersonal Studies. He has studied with the shamans of many continents, and is a graduate of extended training by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, including its Th ree-Year Program in Advanced Shamanic Initiation.

Worth a Read

This is a pretty comprehensive look at psychopomping and what types of situations a healer would run into and how you might address them. It won't necessarily teach you how to do it as much as assist you in different situations once you're there. It acts like a personal journal of the author's experiences at psychopomp. There isn't a lot of other literature quite like this except for Baldwin's Spirit Releasement Therapy which also goes into great depth on the subject, but is not shamanic. Worth a read.

This enlightening book allowed me to understand for the first time the role of the psychopomp. I was caught off guard by the author's ability to insert humor while presenting example after example of human trauma. One story after another whittled away at my initial skepticism, and I came to firmly agree with the author that he simply couldn't invent this stuff.

This is a lot of information about what a psychopomp does. There are lots of personal stories. Lots of stuck spirits who need help. It is NOT a how to book. So, it does what it does well. It doesn't stray from that.

The best part for me was when the author talks about living well and dying well. That was worth the price of the book.

Denny McGeorge is Emeritus Professor in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Newcastle, Australia; an Honorary Professor at the University of New South Wales and a Visiting Professor at the University of Salford.

Patrick Zou�is Professor and Head of Discipline, Building and Construction Management at the University of Canberra, Australia. Prior to joining the University of Canberra, he was associate professor and director of the construction management and property program at the University of New South Wales, Australia.� He is Guest Professor at Hunan University and Shenzhen University, and was Visiting Scholar at the National University of Singapore, University of Florida, Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China.

Sidle's ambitions become clear early in the book, when he quotes not just pedestrian business leaders but Czech playwright and Nobel laureate Vaclav Havel. Spiritual insights for business leaders

C. Clinton Sidle finds leadership lessons in psychologist Carl Jung's categorization of human personality into archetypes based on ancient mythological symbols and in Jung's belief that each person travels on a "heroic journey" through life. Sidle adapts these Jungian ideas and the symbol of the wheel to create a paradigm of business leadership that individuals, teams and organizations can use to reach their goals. Because he tries to fit so many concepts into his wheel, readers may feel after a while that they are spinning in circles. Nonetheless, the book is loaded with useful exercises and examples. Although Sidle's approach is esoteric, we recommend it to managers with a spiritual bent who want to develop their leadership qualities and discover a style that suits them.

I got this little book as a gift a long time and it is awesome! Now I buy it as gifts for my Religious Education students. Jason Evert is fantastic at explaining the Theology of the Body to teens and adults that don't know much about the Catholic Church and its teachings on sexuality.

Great little booklet.

Note: Those who reject this booklet seemingly reject what the Church teaches. This book has a NIHIL OBSTAT & an IMPRIMATUR, meaning that it is free of ANY doctrinal or moral error, thus persons should be skeptical of those who reject this booklet, not the author. Now, obviously much could be unpacked, which could likely appease the persons who take issue with the booklet, but that's not the point of the booklet; rather, it seems to be to introduce guys to the simple concepts of living as a Christian man, even if those concepts are actually difficult to live out in this generation, especially when young men and boys are often not mentored in the ways of manhood.

Message of HOPE

I am so glad that I bought this book. I was mad at someone who took me for a bundle and then had the nerve to move in next door to me 7 months later. I was so angry at this person that I ordered the Satanic Bible on a Really bad day. I ordered this book too as an antidote so to speak. This book was so great because it made me realize that I am on the right team to remain Christian. It was almost like a cross reference of the other book. It was very enlightening just to learn religious history and many things about the bible and how our actions can keep us in a dark place. Let's just say that it helped me to forgive, as much as I didn't want to, and move on. It kept me from stooping to the level of my adversary. This is the best purchase I ever made in the book department. Hope and faith are really good tools, if you remember you have always had them.

Thoughtful And Good Knowledge For Spiritual Warfare

Ex Satanist, especially those well practiced in their craft -open gems of understanding into the Demonic.
I encourage anyone battling the dark forces, to be well read in this area, and in the scriptures.
Although the 'Battle belongs to the Lord' -- Satanist show us time and time again the TRUTH OF CATHOLICISM,
as the only True Faith that Hell, Lucifer, High level Satanist, 'black masses & sacraments' --want to really target and copy the True Mystical Body Christ on Earth.
Deborah Lipsky [and others like Betty Brennan], show us how immature Born Again Christians claiming the 'Blood Of Jesus' -- is no match, not enough. They actually "laugh" at such persons attempts against them. Years of unresolved pain & abuse -- led these people into welding powers of the demonic onto unsuspecting persons around them...and I warn you -- such persons are ALL TO COMMON these days and in every walk of life - teachers, Medical professionals, policemen, Politicians, Civil Servants. Harry Potter has spored a whole new generation of unsuspecting practitioners down a down ward path!!
Read Pray be aware of the advice from these people ...who led to the Real Truths of Catholicism, that was the only thing that eventually set them free. Don't be naive, of Satanists or religious cults ... learn real Truths form the journey of those who had to undergo so much suffering form the a very very dark past, release from demonic powers to eventually find the Truth.
See the Lord wins Romans 8:28 -- all things can together for good!
