Marian K. Kazimierczuk is Professor of Electrical engineering at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, USA. He is the author of five books, over 130 journal papers, over 150 conference papers, and seven patents. he is a fellow of the IEE and he received an Outstanding Teacher Award from the American Society for Engineering Education in 2008. His research interests are in the areas of RF power amplifiers, radio transmitters, power electronics, PWM dc-dc power converters, resonant dc-dc power converters, modeling and controls, semiconductor power devices, magnetic devices, and renewable energy sources.

A good Introduction...

This book is a good introduction textbook for RF Power Amplifiers. I found text to be very easy to follow and provides a good introduction to the various classes of RF power amplifiers and their respective operating condition for each class mode. It is clearly what I would call a 'starter' textbook to get your feet wet to understand the basics for power amplifier operation and easy to grasp the concepts. The book does not discuss a great deal on matching networks; it touches on it, but not in great depth.

Less commonly known, but equally interesting, are Odysseus' "wanderings" in ancient philosophy: Odysseus becomes a model of wisdom for Socrates and his followers, Cynics and Stoics, as well as for later Platonic thinkers. From Villain to Hero: Odysseus in Ancient Thought follows these wanderings in the world of ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, retracing the steps that led the cunning hero of Homeric epic and the villain of Attic tragedy to become a paradigm of the wise man.

From Villain to Hero explores the reception of Odysseus in philosophy, a subject that so far has been treated only in tangential or limited ways. Diverging from previous studies, Montiglio outlines the philosophers' Odysseus across the spectrum, from the Socratics to the Middle Platonists. By the early centuries CE, Odysseus' credentials as a wise man are firmly established, and the start of Odysseus' rehabilitation by philosophers challenges current perceptions of him as a villain. More than merely a study in ancient philosophy, From Villain to Hero seeks to understand the articulations between philosophical readings of Odysseus and nonphilosophical ones, with an eye to the larger cultural contexts of both. Eating Clean is a MUST resource book for everyone, whether you are healthy or not.

Amie's health journey is heart breaking and inspirational. She sought medical help but without a conclusive diagnosis, treatment was almost impossible. But as a celebrity chef, she learned how to detox, eat clean and healing foods and she healed herself.

Eating Clean is not just a cookbook but Amie's health journey; she also happen to offer her tried and true recipes so you can get healthier too. If you suffer from chronic illness, THIS book is for you. But even if you are not, this is the perfect book for you to prevent inflammation that leads to chronic illness. Beautiful photos and resource page too. I highly recommend it.

It's a beautiful and inspirational story and I'm so grateful she chose ...

I was lucky enough to meet Amie at Expo West this year and get a signed copy of her new book. I was crying by the time I read of her journey through illnesses and hell before she began to find functional medicine doctors and food to help her. It's a beautiful and inspirational story and I'm so grateful she chose to share in order to help us all!
As someone who reversed some negative health issues by going gluten free, limiting dairy, cooking at home and cutting out processed foods, I'm so excited to see what other healing can be achieved by using this book in my everyday life. The food looks so delicious and I am sure this will quickly become a favorite cookbook. I can't wait to share her 21 day plan with friends and loved ones. Thanks Amie!!

We are enjoying this new awareness, opportunity

Here's why I adore this book: 1) it's very vegan friendly! I'm a mom with a toddler and infant and over stressed husband with GI issues (colostomy at 34 years old!) my meatless lifestyle choice came more from animal rights and opposition to factory farming. (Which my husband thinks is ridiculous btw!) This book gives a boatload of plant based recipes without the word "vegan" which I think can seem threatening for some meateaters. 2) comes at a time of desperation for us with hubbies health issues - he found this book through her blog the Healthy Apple after we made the millet burgers and he said "I could eat this all the time" which he says about almost every recipe! He never would go near sundried tomatoes and he dies for a salsa we make from her pasta sauce recipe. 3) I have never gelled well with the kitchen- For some weird reason I'm feeling lighter on my feet in there, willing to try things, alter things, experiement with her recipes- it's actually kind of fun...? 4) my toddler- who practically bleeeeds cheese - actually ate three of her recipes so far (raspberry basil coconut ice pops, quinoa lime coconut, cashew nut spread) , sound the alarms!
We're thrilled. I'm proud of my husband. Maybe we are just enjoying fresh flavors. What joy this has been, these past few weeks, watching the person you love turn a corner and start to take back control of his own health. There is nothing more lovely, so for whatever reason this book came into our lives I consider it a dear gift.

John B. Leith was born in 1920 with a photographic mind. Leith studied in Canada and spent 25 years earning a living as a journalist. In 1975, after demonstrating that he could keep his OSS experiences hidden from the public for 30 years, the CIA asked Leith to team up with another wartime OSS officer, Father John in WW II, and interview people associated with the development of “round-wing planes,” both for our allies and for Germany. Neither group was allowed to use that technology for war, because both were assisted by wiser beings from off this planet. Genesis for The Space Race: The Inner Earth and the Extraterrestrials was dedicated to “an unsung hero, Jonathan E. Caldwell, inventor of this civilization’s first spacecraft.” He used several names for security. Read about him on Wikipedia. Like most CIA-approved releases, this 376-page book was required to have disinformation published with it and shown in a map of inner-Earth civilizations provided by an Atlantean cartographer. A 4-page Preamble helps the reader understand the disinformation and it’s need. This book falsely indicates Hitler went with other officers and scientists to New Berlin, accessed from Antarctica. Pope Pius XII trained him to convert pagans in the jungles of Ecuador. The map falsely shows 125-mile-diameter holes at each poll required by the CIA to keep wealthy people from spending their fortunes in attempts to access the Inner Earth to acquire advanced technologies. Leith’s term “Inner Earth” was sometimes changed to “Hollow Earth” and the story modified to match. Also, this book says that Hitler’s son came to his father’s funeral in Zaragoza, Spain in 1974, though the real funeral to which his son, born to Eva Braun in 1945, came was in Cuenca, Ecuador in 1978. It has three sections: Space Race, The Inner World of Extra Terrestrials, and Primer For a New Age of Space. Chapter XVII is titled Intrusion of Alien Beings into World Societies and Interviews with Leading Extra Terrestrials. The Epilogue describes how the 54-12 committee developed strategy for USA presidents since Eisenhower to maintain air supremacy into the 1980s and beyond. It describes foreign awards presented to Lt. General Caldwell after he retired in 1967, including a singular Congressional Medal presented by Eisenhower. The Appendix is titled Social, Political, Economic and Religious life in Inner Earth. Notes and Sources follow with excellent research on many controversial issues that came up during the interviews. Following are pictures of construction of New Berlin and a completed housing block with many German soldiers lined up for inspection. A 57-item bibliography from Occult and the Third Reich by Jean-Michel Angelbert to The Bible and Future Events by Leon Wood is listed. Between are: The Secret Doctrine by Blavatsky; UFO’s and Interplanetary Visitors by Fowler; Our Haunted Planet by Keel; Aliens from Space by Keyhoe; The Great White Brotherhood by Prophet; and Secret of the Ages – UFOs from Inside the Earth by Trench. Following Leith’s writing are addendums by the Owner, Robyn Andrews, who worked with Leith at conferences, and by MUFON Investigator Michael Forte who investigated Leith’s research specialist, Frank Hudson.

If any of it's true it's the most important UFO book ever..

If any of it is true it's the most important UFO book ever. I would like to know more about which parts are disinfo. Leith wrote the book very well- but then entrusted this landmark book to the wrong people. Whomever published the book on createspace had no idea what they were doing. The text hasn't been justified (typographic alignment) which looks very unprofessional. There is no indenting at all and the manuscript was left in draft form and the paragraphs were not connected. But despite all this its a must read book.
